In early 2008 I started Papertree Design. At the time interest in WordPress as a publishing platform and CMS was really starting to explode, being fairly comfortable with the platform I naturally geared most of my services towards this growing number of WordPress users. Thankfully I made a good choice and have had the pleasure of working with some amazing clients on a variety of WordPress projects over the past four years. This choice also led me to discover a huge number of clients that aren’t interested in full service design and/or development, they are simply looking for straightforward, no hassle maintenance, troubleshooting and training.

They don’t always assume that the average web development company is interested in simple maintenance and consulting. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been approached with “I’m not sure you’ll be interested in this…” or “you probably don’t usually take on something this small”.
