What is ThisDayInDesign.com? From the about page of the newly launched site:

Just before the end of 2008 I wrote a short post about my plans for 2009 in which I pro­claimed that the year ahead was going to be about improve­ment. 2009 would be about explor­ing inspi­ra­tion and cre­ativ­ity, get­ting better at what I enjoy and shar­ing that inspi­ra­tion with others. The need to keep this site fresh will encour­age me to spend some time each day to explore the cre­ativ­ity that sur­round us. That’s it, This Day In Design is a cat­a­log of inspiration… Enjoy!

So there you have it, pretty simple. It is a for fun project acting as more of a tool for myself but I wouldn’t want all that inspiration to go to waste so I am hoping that a few of you might find it worth while. I have been wanting to put this together for a few months now but with very little time to work on personal projects it took a bit longer than I had hoped. Hey January 7th, 2009 is as good a time as any to launch a new site, right?
