It had to be expected that once are started running some updates on my site that the artistic beast would take over and ask for a redesign! I started updating my portfolio earlier today (around 4am!) as well as expanding on a lifestreaming idea and it got me all excited like a little kid in a candy store. Hmm I like that, but what could I do to make it better I wonder… a little bit of this and a little bit of that and wham. Here I am with a site left in disarray, patienly waiting to get a new brush of life. So that’s that, I am going to get to work on a little something and hopefully get it up and running sometime soon. I don’t envision a total redesign (although it is possible) I would more like to shift things a bit.
Here’s the plan… After working on the Ethos3 site I started to realize that I need to shift the attention back to the blog that sits somewhat hidden within the Papertree site and start to rebuild some readership. I spend my days designing WordPress sites and coaching people on how to harness the power of the blog while I sit here and let my own go dormant. Makes no sense to me? I would also like to focus heavily on the lifestreaming idea that I left shattered on the front page some time back. It’s not that I want to replace well written content with little blurbs and call it a day, but when things get busy I am lucky to post two sentences. Using services like twitter and Flickr, I can at least contribute something to the site in times of utter chaos thus harnessing the power of both the blog and social media. It’ll be great, trust me!
So keep it in your mind, it’s bound to be updated soon, but for now check in on some of my recent work. (Lot’s of custom WordPress to be had.)
