Papertree Design – the business, the studio and the website was established in February 2008. My name is Jeremy or @jeremyjaymes (via Twitter).
At Papertree, I focus on providing web strategy, development and design solutions for businesses large and small. I sincerely enjoy working with my clients and take very seriously the strategy and planning phases of each project.
WordPress, as you have more than likely noticed, is what I consider my “specialty”. I have been working with WordPress both personally and professionally since late 2005/early 2006.
Background
I attended college straight from high school (late 90’s), served in the military from there, giving me the opportunity to see parts of the world that most will never get to see. I do not regret any of my choices. Art and design has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, don’t be surprised if you see an old sketchpad pop up from time to time. My first experiences designing and developing for the web date back to around 96’ – 97’, when I thought it might be fun to publish an online magazine.
About this Blog
This website is the face of Papertree Design, however the blog acts as quite a bit more. It is a resource for both clients and freelancers alike, covering topics such as WordPress, Drupal, SEO, Usability, Strategy, CSS, PHP, business, Social Media, freelancing and everything in between. I hope that you find it useful as a resource and enjoyable as a weblog. It was designed with the help of Photoshop (just a tiny bit), hand-coded in Coda and published with Transmit. The whole thing is served up by a lovely combination of WordPress and Media Temple.
